We are currently hiring a part time community manager to manage day to day studio life. 10-15 Hours a week.

 

The Community Manager’s main function is to create an inviting and helpful environment for our students and members. You will act as the ‘face’ of our studio and ensure all guests receive a heartwarming welcome. You will also coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guests services. The number one goal of this position is to create outstanding customer experiences.

As a Community Manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise our front desk team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with challenges and complaints and has a solid customer service approach.

The Community Manager position is also an advocate on behalf of our studio to our members by representing the business on a very personal level. Equally, the position is an advocate on behalf of our customers, monitoring conversations and providing feedback to our owners.

This is a part-time, paid position that reports directly to our Co-Owners {Octavia Raheem & Meryl Arnett}, while also working closely with other key members of the team.

The position requires candidates to work front desk shifts Monday – Saturday (4 – 5 shifts/week) in a combination of daytime and evening hours.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing Front Desk

Community Manager will be expected to work 3 – 5 front desk shifts each week (a combination of daytime and evening shifts) in order to know and be known within our #Chillsquad community.

Community Manager will manage additional front desk staff including scheduling, substitutions, and training.

Client Interactions

Respond to client emails and voicemails within 24 hours.

Manage new student outreach and retention efforts.

Be familiar with all Sacred Chill West’s classes and teachers to make recommendations for new students and continuing students’ advancement.

Care for our plants

I’m interested in teaching at Sacred Chill. Is this the right job for me?

Community Manager will not be eligible to teach or substitute teach at Sacred Chill {West} during their tenure as Community Manager. We hold auditions for new teachers and subs 2-3 times a year. The next audition will be in February 2019.

Can you tell me about compensation?

Compensation is competitive and includes some paid time off as well as perks that support your yoga and wellness journey.

Ideal candidate will have:

Personable & friendly. MUST enjoy talking to people!

Practiced in and familiarity with our community

A personal yoga and/or meditation practice.

Knowledge of Mindbody Software.

Candidate must be well-organized and timely.

Responsive to emails and phone calls. No more than 24 hours is our standard.

A consistent schedule.
